Meet the Team

The Neurodivergent Perspectives Assessment Team is a full multi-disciplinary team made up of key clinicians including Clinical Psychologists, Sensory Specialists, Educational Specialists, Speech and Language Therapists, Specialist Diagnostic Assessors, and Mental Health Specialists.

Our assessments are designed to assess for developmental conditions such as autism, ADHD and more specific learning needs such as such as dyslexia, dyscalculia, and cognition and learning needs.

We aim to provide a shared understanding of an individuals strengths and areas of need to then recommend the most appropriate support at home and in education.

Dr Pasquale Kornecki

Consultant Clinical Psychologist
HCPC Registered Practitioner Psychologist

Dr Pasquale Kornecki is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist with extensive experience in assessing and supporting individuals with neurodevelopmental differences. He is passionate about helping people better understand their own neurodivergence and about promoting collaborative, informed approaches to support within health and education services. His key areas of expertise include autism, attentional needs, and specific learning differences such as dyslexia.

Pasquale trained as a Clinical Psychologist in North Wales, completing placements across Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) and Learning Disability Services. Following qualification, he worked within CAMHS as part of a multidisciplinary assessment team, providing supervision, leadership, and clinical input across a range of cases. He later progressed to the role of Principal Clinical Psychologist, where he contributed to service development and organisational leadership.

Driven by a commitment to improving access to high-quality, meaningful assessments, Pasquale co-founded The Rooms of Knutsford to provide formulation-led, multidisciplinary neurodevelopmental assessments to children, young people, and adults. Within the team, he brings strong analytical and leadership skills, fostering collaboration and holistic thinking in every assessment.

Outside of work, Pasquale enjoys cycling, running, playing the guitar, and performing music -passions he has pursued since childhood.

Dr Lucy Kornecki

Consultant Clinical Psychologist
HCPC Registered Practitioner Psychologist

Dr Lucy Kornecki is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist with extensive experience in assessing and understanding complex neurodevelopmental presentations across the lifespan. She specialises in autism and ADHD assessments and is particularly passionate about supporting individuals whose needs may have been masked or overlooked within traditional services.

Before founding Neurodivergent Perspectives, Lucy worked within NHS Tier 4 CAMHS services, supporting young people with severe and enduring mental health difficulties. Her work involved multidisciplinary collaboration and a deep commitment to helping families through challenging times.

As Clinical Lead, Lucy ensures that every assessment is guided by compassion, curiosity, and a whole-person understanding. She believes that every client deserves to feel seen, heard, and understood, and is dedicated to creating meaningful, person-centred formulations that go beyond diagnosis.

Outside of work, Lucy enjoys staying active, reading, and exploring new places around the world.

Louise Sinclair

Admin Manager

Louise is the Admin Manager at Neurodivergent Perspectives and has a background in corporate marketing and events, with particular experience in the IT sector. She is passionate about creating a supportive and stress-free experience for families, ensuring the assessment journey is as smooth as possible at every stage.

Before joining Neurodivergent Perspectives, Louise took time away from her career to raise her young family. In her role as Admin Manager, she works closely with all members of the multidisciplinary team, supporting clinicians with administrative tasks, liaising with schools and external agencies, and playing a key role in the coordination and organisation of the assessment service.

Outside of work, she enjoys countryside walks with her dog, upcycling furniture, pottering in the gardening, and reading psychological thrillers. She also loves spending time with family and friends and is actively involved in fundraising activities at her children’s school.

Emily Wood

Assistant Psychologist

Emily Wood is an Assistant Psychologist with experience supporting children and young people with a range of neurodivergent profiles. She is particularly interested in ADHD and in how ADHD and autism can coexist and interact within individual presentations. Emily takes a personalised, compassionate approach to assessment, focusing on understanding each person’s unique profile and lived experience.

Before joining Neurodivergent Perspectives, Emily worked as an SEN Teaching Assistant in a high school and as a nursery nurse supporting children from 6 months to 4 years old. She is also experienced in using QB testing to assess attentional performance and activity levels as part of the diagnostic process for ADHD.

Within the multidisciplinary team, Emily contributes to the formulation of complex profiles and supports the identification of high-masking presentations. She values collaboration and is passionate about ensuring assessments are thorough, individualised, and person-centred.

Outside of work, Emily enjoys reading, has a lifelong fascination with dinosaurs, and loves spending time with her four cats and rabbit.

Helen Duckworth

Speech and Language Therapist
HCPC Registered | Member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT)

Helen Duckworth is a Speech and Language Therapist specialising in language, communication, and neurodivergent communication profiles. She has particular expertise in language delay and disorder, selective mutism, and the complex ways that neurodivergence can shape communication and interaction.

Helen began her career working within NHS mainstream speech and language therapy services, where she discovered her passion for supporting neurodivergent individuals. In 2022, she moved into a specialist role within a multidisciplinary diagnostic team, focusing on autism and ADHD assessments.

At Neurodivergent Perspectives, Helen brings a unique perspective to the multidisciplinary team, exploring how communication differences contribute to each person’s overall presentation and experience. She is dedicated to helping individuals and families better understand and celebrate their communication strengths and needs.

Outside of work, Helen enjoys exploring the great outdoors near her home in North Wales and spending time with her beloved cat, Coco. She’s a self-confessed animal lover and proud “crazy cat lady.”

Jane Bibby

Educational Specialist and Diagnostic Assessor

Jane Bibby is a Specialist Diagnostic Assessor with extensive experience in supporting young people with diverse learning needs. With a strong background in education and SEND leadership, she is passionate about helping individuals understand their learning profiles and empowering them to thrive both academically and personally.

Before joining Neurodivergent Perspectives, Jane worked for a decade as a SENDCo and Access Arrangements Coordinator in a mainstream secondary school, where she championed inclusive practice and advocated for neurodivergent students. Her deep understanding of educational systems and learning environments informs her holistic approach to diagnostic assessment.

Within the multidisciplinary team, Jane contributes her expertise in education, communication, and complex profiles. She views each assessment through an educational lens – considering how neurodivergence impacts learning, classroom experience, and everyday life.

Outside of work, Jane enjoys reading, spending time with her family, and practising meditation.

Emma Mahon

Specialist Diagnostic Assessor

Emma Mahon is a Specialist Diagnostic Assessor with extensive experience in assessing and supporting individuals with Specific Learning Differences such as dyslexia, dyscalculia, and ADHD. She is passionate about uncovering each person’s unique learning profile and strengths, particularly in complex or co-occurring presentations, including high-masking female profiles of autism and ADHD.

Before joining Neurodivergent Perspectives, Emma held senior roles in education, specialising in SEND and inclusion. She has led specialist resource provisions and developed local authority inclusion outreach services supporting neurodivergent children across educational settings. Emma also founded her own consultancy, providing diagnostic assessments and neurodiversity training to schools and professionals.

As part of the multidisciplinary team, Emma brings expertise in diagnostic formulation, educational psychology, and neurodiversity-informed practice. She is committed to ensuring that every assessment balances objective data with lived experience, promoting understanding and meaningful support for each individual.

Outside of work, Emma enjoys exploring the Peak District with her daughter and their dog, as well as music, theatre, and film. She is also an active volunteer, serving as Chair of Governors for a local Enhanced Resource Primary School and as a trustee for Autism Practical Support.

Tom Berry

Specialist Mental Health Practitioner

Tom Berry is a Neurodevelopmental Assessment Team Clinician with a background in mental health, education, and psychotherapy. He is passionate about exploring all aspects of neurodivergence and developing meaningful, individualised formulations that help people understand their experiences and how these relate to their mental health and wellbeing.

Before joining Neurodivergent Perspectives, Tom worked across educational and therapeutic settings, including as a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist in both private practice and NHS services. His earlier work in schools supporting children and young people with additional needs continues to shape his empathic, holistic, and person-centred approach.

As part of the multidisciplinary team, Tom brings expertise in developmental theory, mental health, and biopsychosocial formulation, contributing to thoughtful, comprehensive assessments. He values collaboration, curiosity, and supporting individuals and families to better understand and embrace their neurodivergent experiences.

Outside of work, Tom enjoys staying active through running, golf, boxing, and the gym. He also loves reading, listening to podcasts, and travelling to new places.

Emily Ward

Speech and Language Therapist
HCPC Registered | Member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT)

Emily Ward is a Speech and Language Therapist with over five years of experience working with children and young people across a variety of community settings within NHS services.

Throughout her clinical career, Emily has supported individuals with a wide range of neurodivergent communication profiles, including those who are Autistic, have ADHD, Selective Mutism, or Developmental Language Disorder. She works collaboratively with children, young people, and their families to help them understand their communication style, build on their strengths, and develop strategies that help them to thrive.

Emily is passionate about creating communication environments that are accessible, affirming, and supportive. She works closely with schools, caregivers, and other professionals to identify and implement meaningful adjustments that enable each young person to express themselves confidently. Her practice is firmly neuroaffirmative, and she advocates for the use of Alternative and Augmentative Communication (AAC) to ensure communication is accessible to all.

Outside of work, Emily enjoys reading, going for walks or runs, and relaxing with an episode of Gogglebox.
